"Spirit of Springdale"

SAM'S CLUB, SPRINGDALE, AR
SEPTEMBER 2025
29.25' x 14.4'
This mural, commissioned by Sam’s Club, celebrates the heritage and community spirit of Springdale and Northwest Arkansas. At the forefront, the Rodeo of the Ozarks parade comes to life, with a rider proudly carrying a banner through the heart of downtown. The scene is anchored by Sam Walton’s iconic red Ford pickup, a nod to the entrepreneurial roots that grew into Walmart, shaping the region’s identity.
Woven throughout the mural is the Razorback Greenway, shown as families bike and gather outdoors, reflecting the trail’s role in connecting neighborhoods and fostering community life. Local landmarks and vibrant colors highlight the energy of Springdale, while details like blooming wildflowers and a dragonfly pay tribute to the natural beauty of the Ozarks.
Together, these elements create a visual tribute to the past, present, and future of Springdale.
